Discover Museum Mayer van den Bergh with your group

Museum Mayer van den Bergh is temporarily closed for renovation. But not to worry, during the closure, you are welcome to pay a visit to the Maagdenhuis. Book a group tour and (re)discover many masterpieces, such as Bruegel’s ‘Mad Meg’.

In the late 19th century, Antwerp art connoisseur Fritz Mayer van den Bergh collected no less than 3,000 art objects, including ‘Dulle Griet’ by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. After his death, his mother Henriette fulfilled her son’s greatest dream: the creation of an intimate and home-like museum next to the family residence to house his breathtaking collection. Since the Museum Mayer van den Bergh is currently being renovated, you and your group are welcome to visit the nearby Maagdenhuis to explore the rich collection.
