Groen Kwartier (Green Quarter)

Once an army barracks with a military hospital, the Groen Kwartier is now a trendy place to live and work. PAKT is a hotspot of sustainable and creative entrepreneurs, where you can start the day in the best way at Caffènation, one of Antwerp's most famous coffee bars. Spéciale Belge, on the other hand, is a modern and industrial beer specialist with a very extensive range. And in the evenings, dine at Standard, where they serve delicious sourdough pizzas.

De Koninck brewery

At De Koninck brewery, visitors can not only sample beer and take an interactive tour, but also discover a wealth of tasty local delicacies from shops such as The Bakery, Butcher's Store, chocolate from Jitsk, and cheese affineurs Van Tricht. The quality is evident in the taste. Cycling enthusiasts should not miss Velodome, with all manner of bikes, numerous accessories and high-quality cycling clothes on show.

Street Art

Fans of street art will be right at home in Antwerp for sure. Download the Street Art Cities app and go exploring, with a choice of over 260 works to admire. If a guided tour is preferred, then follow one of the routes available in the app.

Nieuw Zuid

Between Antwerp Zuid and the Scheldt, a new green neighbourhood has emerged in the space of just a few years, with new residential tower blocks, a large park, lots of new amenities, and much more. The new Courthouse and the renovation of the former goods station by Bank Van Breda were once the first inspirations for the district. Today, the many galleries and welcoming bars make this rapidly evolving district definitely worth exploring.
