The best coffee in every neighbourhood

The best coffee in every neighbourhood

Every neighbourhood in Antwerp has its own character... and coffee spots. Exploring a specific neighbourhood? Treat yourself to a cappuccino, flat white or latte at one of these local coffee bars.

Historic Centre

Step into Antwerp's rich past in the historic centre. Wander through small alleys, admire centuries-old architecture and take your best photos at the Grote Markt. And in between? Coffee, of course! You will find coffee bars and classic cafes everywhere. There’s no better place to enjoy a cosy cup of coffee than here.

Caffé Mundi

Near the Grote Markt, you'll find Caffe Mundi. Sample coffee from the Cross Roast roastery, located just next door. After your cappuccino, take a look at the Cross Roast Experience Store: full of surprising coffee gifts and other goodies.

Kasette Koffie

At Kassette Koffie, the music is not actually on cassette, but on CD and vinyl. In this speciality coffee spot, you can sip your flat white or filter coffee while listening to some nice tunes. Every Saturday, DJs play live vinyl sets. Treat yourself to a slice of homemade cheesecake to complete the experience.

Tartoer

One near the Grote Markt, the other in the Universiteitsbuurt (University neighbourhood).

Tinsel

On Sint-Paulusplaats, you’ll find the cosy Tinsel. Here, locals enjoy a healthy breakfast or tasty lunch. The kitchen offers local seasonal dishes, and the coffee beans are sourced from nearby Andy Roasters.
